Atypical is an American comedy-drama television series created by Robia Rashid for Netflix. It focuses on the life of 18-year-old Samuel “Sam” Gardner (Keir Gilchrist), who is on the autism spectrum. When Sam decides to take charge of his life and start dating girls, his family, especially his mother, struggles with his idea of independence.
